Do you have an easy recipe for green beans?

I bought a box of those steamer bags for veggies, and I have some frozen green beans I want to toss in. (The fresh ones at the store looked bad.) I thought of tossing in some butter, salt, pepper, and maybe even some sliced almonds. Will this be enough to give it flavor? Do you have favorite seasonings for vegetables?Do you have an easy recipe for green beans?
I like your recipe! It's simple, natural, and healthy (if you just use a little butter) Sometimes adding extra spices really messes up what could have been wonderful.

Just steam the green beans in the microwave, then saute a little bit of minced garlic in some olive oil and butter and add salt and pepper. If you want to add sliced almonds you should saute them in a little butter to bring out their flavor.Hope I was a help!!
2 (16 oz.) cans green beans

6 slices bacon

1 tsp. lemon juice (optional)

1/2 c. toasted almonds (optional)

You can substitute 2 pounds fresh, green beans for the 2 cans, if you wish.

Fry bacon in saucepan until crisp. Remove from pan; crumble and set aside.

Add green beans immediately after removing bacon and cook. Return bacon to beans and continue cooking about 15-20 minutes. You may add optional items. Add the lemon juice at the beginning of cooking the beans. Add the toasted almonds to the beans, just before serving.
My favorite green bean recipe for frozen beans is to thaw them out in a strainer and run hot water over them. When they are thawed I pat them dry on a clean dish towel. Heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a pan or skillet and when it gets very warm (don't put heat on too high or the oil will burn and smoke) add the beans and stir quickly to coat with the hot oil. They beans should sizzle in the pan. They also may get a wilted appearance or a ';browned'; look in places but that's ok. After a few minutes, add some minced garlic (maybe 1 to 2 cloves) to the beans and keep stirring to keep the garlic from burning because burnt garlic tastes nasty. Add some salt and pepper and there you have it. When I have some seasoned canned tomatoes in my pantry....I'll add them...juice and all and heat it. Both ways is delicious.
Pan roast them check out website Caprial %26amp; John something something they just a recipe for green beans roasted them..

I'd steam them, then pan sautee in butter and/or olive oil in which you've browned some diced garlic. Add some small chunks of ham if you have it. (And salt and pepper to taste).
Yes. I do it all the time. Try roasting this mixture on a sheet pan at 350 F. Takes about 10 min. or so.
steam it then sautee it and add like salt pepper and soya sauce or oyster sauce and try adding some carrots .... i dun think urs has enough flavor

try some chile powder if u want

but soya sauce will do the trick
almonds are good like you said and toss with a little vadalia onion salad dressing.
Why not green bean casserole? Just mix green beans and cream of mushroom soup and if you like add fried onions to the top. Just heat it in the microwave for about 10 minutes.
A bit of garlic powder is good added too.
I sneak a dab of chicken bouillon after sauteing and put a little water in the pan to steam them. And just about a 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon sugar. Divine. Sometimes just as their done, I add chopped slices of dundried tomatoes.
I think that you answered your own question. Sounds delicious to me.
