What is the recipe for green bean casserole?

30 ounces green beans, canned, drained*





10 3/4 ounces Cream of Mushroom Soup





3/4 cup milk





2 3/4 ounces French-fried onions





1/8 teaspoon pepper





Combine green beans, soup, milk, pepper and 1/2 of the onions; gently stir together to mix well. Spread mixture in a 1 1/2 to 2 quart ovenproof casserole dish.Bake at 350掳F for 25 minutes. Top with remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes more.What is the recipe for green bean casserole?
Tater Tot Green Bean Casserole





INGREDIENTS


1/2 pound ground beef


1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup


10 3/4 fluid ounces skim milk


1 teaspoon garlic salt


1 (14.5 ounce) can French style green beans


1/2 (32 ounce) package tater tots


DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).


In a large skillet over high heat, brown the ground beef and drain fat. Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, skim milk, garlic salt and green beans. Pour the mixture into a medium-sized casserole dish and layer with the tater tots.


Bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until tater tots are browned and crispy.








My extra tip....for non-soggy taters, bake for 10 minutes b4 putting on top of casserole and baking....and it is really yummy when you add cheese the last 10 minutes of baking
Well, let's see . . . I'll just bet it has green beans, hamburger and tator tots in it . . . what do you think. Add mushroom soup with just a little water and voila!! There you have it.





BTW ... put the tator tots on top when you bake it @ 325 for about an hour. Just brown the hamburger don't cook it throug and drain the grease from it.
Creamy-and-Crunchy Green Bean Casserole:





Prep: 10 min., Cook: 10 min., Bake: 35 min.





1/4 cup butter


1 large onion, chopped


2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup


2 (16-ounce) packages frozen French-cut green beans, thawed


1 (14-ounce) can bean sprouts, rinsed and drained


2 (8-ounce) cans diced water chestnuts, drained


1/4 teaspoon salt


1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese


2 (2.8-ounce) cans French fried onions





Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat; add onion, and saut茅 8 minutes or until tender. Stir in soup, and bring to a boil. Stir in beans and next 3 ingredients. Spoon into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with shredded Cheddar cheese.





Bake, covered, at 375掳 for 25 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle evenly with French fried onions, and bake 10 more minutes or until bubbly.





Yield: Makes 8 servings
